I apologize if it seemed callous. On some level, I think it speaks to your resilience that I don't automatically think of you as being recently widowed. It's a part of your life, but it's not your life. Anyway, that's how it seems from my perspective. Thanks for contributing. I really appreciate it.

As for the weight gain...I've not been through your particular experience, but I'm one of those people who eats in times of stress. I can totally sympathize. I bet Belle is getting you out to walk more, right? There's a lot of evidence that a regular walking program can be as useful as running in weight control.Sara Lattahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14638679848741806320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1133766421547054673.post-67975369237792248842007-05-31T12:39:00.000-05:002007-05-31T12:39:00.000-05:00Sara, I hope you won't mind if respond by comment...Sara,

I hope you won't mind if respond by comment. (I think I may just work with the second part!)

4) Became a new widow.
3) Saw both children graduate from high school and the oldest graduate from college.
2) Adopted one new cat, one new dog, and am currently fostering a service dog in training for Helping Paws.
1) Added 63 new pounds since the Pikes Peak Half Marathon in August, 2005. Started back at WW's and now have lost 8 of the 63.

1) Finish losing the last 55 pounds.
2) Start running again as soon as my weight will allow.
3) See Belle graduate and become a "professional" assistance dog.
4) See my daughter graduate from Badgerville and my son graduate with his Master's (already started, no less!)Speak(er)https://www.blogger.com/profile/00739156252885244499noreply@blogger.com
