I just found out that
The Good, the Bad, the Slimy: The Secret Life of Microbes will appear on the
Science Books & Films 2008 "Best Books List." SB&F is a critical review journal published by the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and according to the email they sent my editor, this is their most popular issue.

Whoo Hoo! Congratulations!
..And it was #1 on Claire's top 10. You've had a banner year, Author!
Thanks, Patricia. And finne017...who are you, mystery person? And who is this fantastically intelligent and perceptive Claire who put it #1 on her top 10? You do know how massage an author's ego.
Congratulations! What a feather in your cap!
It's about time microorganisms got the recognition they deserve.
Thanks! Or, as my husband's grandmother once said, "That's a real fetish in my cap."
I am pretty sure finne017 is related to me. And Belle the dog.
Congrats! This is fantastic, and so very well deserved. Cool cool cool!
So you're saying finne017 is speaker in disguise? I suppose I should have been tipped off by the finn part, but who is claire?
